“Have you ever wanted to do something crazy”

“Have you ever wanted to do something crazy”. We’ve all heard the line from someone, or we’ve been the one to say it. Whether it’s skydiving, surfing, snowboarding, zip lining etc….there’s something about doing something out of your element and discovering its actually very much in your element. I grew up believing that anyone who did these adrenaline junkie activities was “crazy”. I don’t blame anyone for this belief, these things are out of the norm for people I grew up around, as well as the fact that they just wanted me to be safe. However after doing research, listening to friends experiences, and watching videos, something sparked a thrill in me, and well I wanted to do these “crazy” things. It takes one person to step out of a box filled with the fearful after that people won’t be so scared, and after that, there will be no box.

I recently went snowboarding for the first time and oh boy was it a thrill! One of the best experiences I’ve ever had in my life. Standing up on the board, trying to catch your balance down the hill, and being ok with falling, and getting right back up, and trying again made me make references to things I’ve dealt with in my life. So many things happen where we know we might fail, but getting back up, and trying has a sense of satisfaction on its own!

Attached is a link from GoPro’s youtube which I watch every once in a while to get me pumped to try new things! I hope this article and the video help you want to try something new and discover new interests you may not be aware of!
